Counter-Strike Online 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game and is the sequel to the 2008 game Counter-Strike Online. It is targeted towards Asia's gaming market. The game implements the Source engine allowing for better graphics compared to its predecessor and more complex equipment and weapons. The game will also use the free-to-play and micropayment business model.

Nexon, Valve announce Counter-Strike Online 2 for Asian territories:


South Korean developer Nexon this week announced Counter-Strike Online 2, a sequel to its successful made-for-Asian-gaming-cafes port of the original Counter-Strike. Developed under license from Valve, Counter-Strike Online 2 will launch in China, South Korea, Japan and "other areas in Southeast Asia" on a future date.

When it does launch, it'll run on an "enhanced" version of the Source Engine and feature "enhanced graphics, more realistic gameplay and powerful impact sensations," the latter of which troubles us slightly considering the game is primarily about bullets impacting squishy human bodies. We're not in a huge rush to experience that firsthand.

Update Counter Strike Online on January 30, 2013 will provide the latest update Soccer Mode Mode that will surely give you a new experience in playing Counter-Strike Online.

Soccer Mode :

Soccer Mode is a new mode of Counter-Strike Online Indonesia, here you do not need to use weapons - weapons but only for passing right click and left click to kick. On the mode you will play soccer in a special folder in the form of a football field. But here there is no violation or the ball out. The game can be played with a maximum of 32 people, divided into 16 vs 16. and the ball used to be added into 2 pieces. below is a display and explanation of the soccer mode:

Storm (de_storm) is an official bomb defuse map originally designed for Counter-Strike, which later passed success to Counter-Strike Online.

Storm is a castle-like armory map. It is a bomb defuse map which has two bomb sites.

Map history:
Storm was added into the game since Counter-Strike 1.3 until Counter-Strike version 1.6. However, there is no Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and Counter-Strike: Source versions for this map. This map returns in Counter-Strike Online.

A little story about Storm map:
CT has to protect the weapons crates by preventing TR to bombing the crates at the bomb sites while TR has to stop CT from delivering the crates by planting C4.

In CSO this map is also available in Zombie Modes (Original, Mutant & Hero)

Storm is one of the unpopular map in Counter-Strike.
